About Us

Greetings! Kyle and Shannon here, a husband and wife duo. We are so happy you found us! We are a couple of lovebirds who both happen to be partially obsessed with photography. How perfect is that?! As a pair of highly creative and sentimental hopeless romantics, capturing your beautiful memories

in our artistic way is a dream come true for us. We specialize in weddings, engagements, child and family photography, special needs children and adults, however we certainly are not limited there. We have a very eclectic resume and love it like that.

Let's do this and we will make it beautiful!

A little bit more about our lives, experience, and expertise to help you get to know us a little better...

First, let's get to know Shannon:

I thankfully found photography pretty early on in my life. It was my exciting, fulfilling and incredible form of artistic expression that I completely fell in love with. Although I presently love creating portraits and photographing the awesomeness that is human nature, I started off photographing pretty much only nature. I would sit for hours and contort my body to get just the right shot, that weird angle, that hidden detail; I would often hear my family in the background say, "There she goes again crawling around in the dirt to get the shot". It was my little heaven. Then I began volunteering as a photographer for the Southern California Special Olympics and found a whole new heaven. I believe there is far too much focus on the "dis-ability" rather than the great ability and powerful hearts that those who are differently-abled infuse into our world. Therefore, another element of my photography which expands far beyond special needs, is to show the powerful beauty of the unique differences that may not fit into the "norms of society". After all, "normal" is not nearly as interesting. I use this philosophy in every type of photoshoot I do which helps to create unique and heartfelt images time and time again.

And surprise surprise!  I work with children on the autism spectrum as a Lead Behavioral Therapist and have done so for over four years. There is so much I can say about how wonderful and special this job is to me, but to bring it back to photography, it is unbelievably helpful for knowing how to successfully photograph a family session with kids who simply "don't do what we would love them to do for that perfect picture". I'd say it's a little more fun and special to capture the true character and nature of a family unit.

One of my dreams is to blend my two loves of children and photography in one awesome package and teach photography classes to kiddos of all types while using the photographic medium as a form of art therapy.

But for now, I am loving and reeling in the fact that I met the love of my life, my soul mate, Kyle Logghe, who I get to live my dream with by creating Wise Eyes Photography. We get to live our dream together and for that I cannot be more grateful! Can't wait to work with you!
